Aripriprazole side effects

I have been taking aripriprazole since July and had my dose upped to 15mg last week.

I have been feeling very anxious physically recently and I am wondering if it is the aripriprazole. I have sweaty palms, butterflies in my stomach etc. I am not especially worried about anything so I don't understand it although I am having a difficult time at the moment.

Could this be a side effect of the increase in the dose? Will it stop? Thanks for any advice.

I got that side effect from aripiprazole and now changing to olanzapine.

I am keen to stay on it so I hope this passes! I have changed onto it from risperidone which messed around with my periods, and I won't take olanzipine. I didn't really want to up my dose but they said I was becoming delusional again.

I was on 25 mg, 15 did not work well enough. I go for olanzapine because I have some other bad symptom in addition to psychotic symptoms. Olanzapine sounds good in that aspect. If I only had psychotic symptoms I would try something else.

I rang my CPN and she said to go down to 10mg again and she will arrange a review with the psychiatrist.

I had it at first when I started on 5mg but it went after about a week. I never got any further with it so can't say anything more. Hope it works out for you.
