Recommandations for anger therapy/management please

A man in my family has had (almost) violent anger tantrums for the last year and is now ready to seek some therapy. He is quite concerned to go to a normal GP because it may affect his life insurance or it could compromise him in some other way.

Are there any charities (like relate for example) which do not cost an arm and a leg that may be offering this service.

thanks

Sorry to hear about this. No personal experience of this organisation but www.angermanage.co.uk may be a good place to start.

Another idea is to look for a private counsellor who works with anger issues. Try www.counselling-directory.org.uk/distress-anger.html or look on the UKCP or BACP websites.
