I am manic and last night was out with a friend when she showed up at KFC screaming about how I should be at home with my kids (they were with dh) so in my aggressive state I sent her some angry texts. Saying perhaps there is a reason both her dc are self harmers. And how dare she judge me as a mother.

I feel pretty bad now but how can I apologise when it's how I feel?

You don't have to apologise for the way you feel. You can, if you want to, apologise for the way you behaved.

Well she was wrong to scream at you on a night out when your dh was home with the kids! Is she normally so rude??

I wouldn't apologise.

She can be rude yes I like the idea of apologising for my behaviour.
