Prozac: getting more than 28 capsules at a time?

Can a doctor prescribe more than 28/
30 days worth of Prozac (class C) at a time? we are going away and my DD's GP has not given us more, in spite of me having asked. Now have a review meeting today with a different doctor. Is a different doctor going to be able to prescribe more, or will we need to get it while abroad?

(DD was originally put on Prozac by psychiatrist at eating disorder unit, now the GP deals with it. We have 3 monthly reviews with ED and their doctor, but that dr doesn't prescribe it.)

I usually get 56 tablets at a time (not on Prozac now, am on a different AD but I was on Prozac in the past and got 56 back then as well). I wouldn't want to rely on getting hold of it abroad. No reason why they can't prescribe more, especially if you let them know you're going away.

Thanks! Did get another 28, but what a palaver. Have got a repeat prescription at last too, for 56, so should make life easier.
