Emetophobia on TV

The Speakmans are on ITV at the moment with a lady who has had emetophobia since she was 3 years old.

Very interesting, worth a watch on catch up or plus 1

I just watched this.....I'm quite skeptical, is she really cured?. I'm sure it can't be that easy to get over this debilitating condition (I've suffered with it most of my life)

Daisycat - I'm with you, but I'm guessing they didn't show you all the therapy she had.

I think it's a good starting point though, and I liked the boxes they did with all the bits representing what she had been thinking and how it was holding her back.

I've suffered with emetophobia and associated anxiety and agoraphobia, had antidepressants, anti anxiety meds and CBT. I'm slowly coming to realise that the biggest obstacle is actually myself and my mind.
