Feeling depressed in pregnancy?

Not sure if this should be under Pregnancy but...

I'm 17 weeks pregnant with my first baby and so far it's been quite difficult (dad ran away, had to leave uni etc) but I've stayed positive.
The past day or two I can feel the familiar depression setting in. In the past it's lasted a few weeks at a time but is usually

Oops! It usually lasts a few weeks but is pretty debilitating.
What options do I have? Obviously I can't take anti-depressants and I'm not sure what will help etc, I just don't want to get into a really bad dark period when I've been so good so far Sad

Hi there are antidepressants that are prescribed in pregnancy so why not book a gp appointment? You can also let your midwife know when you next see her or contact her in between appointments if that is a long time.
