Anyone else here take this?

I was on it before but gained too much weight. But as it made me very stable I am being put back on it Thursday looking for ways to keep weight gain down.

See if they'll try you on topiramate, can be used to help the cramps you get on high doses but also suppresses appetite. Smile been on it myself but had an allergic reaction and my sister in law has used this combination successfully.

Thank you that's great I will give it a try.

I take it but only a 2.5mg dose. I also take 75mg Sertraline & occasionally Clonazapam. I have no weight gain. I know on higher doses you can gain weight.
Maybe try to eat complex carbohydrates that fill you up & take longer until you feel hungry. Try not to snack on sweet things. Eat more fruit or carrots, celery with dip as a healthier option. Have a good breakfast like porridge. Bananas are good to eat too.

Thank you I had to take 10mg before but as I was breastfeeding I may be on a higher dose this time as 10mg didn't eliminate all symptoms.

I take 25mg and have a terrible sweet tooth, I try to not eat sweet things but sometimes the cravings take over.

My brother is on it- he had a noticeable weight gain although with effort he is now back to, what looks like, roughly the same weight. His main way of doing it was not to ignore the cravings, but to get rid of pretty much anything especially tempting with a lot of calories, he'd chew on gum to make his body kind of think he was eating.
