Hi

I have posted here before, been up and down lately. Have just started Prozac. I had a real dip this week, physical symptoms (actual pain), couldn't do anything was dizzy and shaking etc. I was so out of it- seeing things that weren't there, had no idea what I was talking about etc. Luckily, I had a friend who looked after me and DD, came round, calmed me down and made sure I was OK. It was really horrible, but I'm coming round now and today has been fairly 'normal'. I think it was caused by exhaustion, really. My friend has been through the same, and says I will feel better if I sleep. I've just finished a degree, so this is where a lot of it has come from. I think it was a warning, and I'm determined to look after myself better.

I just wanted to share that, because I have been reading the boards and have not been brave enough to post.

Oh, and I have my degree grades (provisionally) back. A first.

Congratulations on your degree grade and welcome to the mental health board!

You say you are seeing things mind if I ask what?

Try and get a good nights sleep tonight and if you don't feel better talk to your gp please.

Spiders. I was seeing spiders that I knew weren't real, but were there. Yes, I've talked to my GP am feeling a bit better. I have a long history of MH issues, PTSD and so on so am quite used to flashbacks, but it was terrifying. I've friends I can ring anytime in a crisis, am quite lucky there.

Well done - after all that hard work ( and worrying!) great to know you got the highest level [smile[

Have you got some nice things lined up so you can be kind to you?

Katkins1 · 06/06/2014 00:16

Thank you. I don't know what nice things to do! I am waiting further confirmation on one grade, but my tutor snuck it into a reference for my masters scholarship and sent it me "as a draft" because I'm pretty sure it hasn't been returned by exams yet.

Thank you. And thank you so, so much for commenting on my threads. shouldn't say this really it might out me but... my thesis has 90 (I've not picked it up yet, it's on my reference).

I read some of your posts--such good news on your results.

I've had a similar reaction to having been in a stressful situation. I've managed to hold it together of when I needed to, but then it all caught up with me. Take care.
