have u tried any other ad's?if they are making u tired it must be awful,it always makes me feel worse when i cant be bothered to do anything.
if i were you i would discuss changing the type of ad,especially if they r making u put weight on as well.

Could you be anemic ? might be worth getting a blood test from the dr's to see. Spatone is an excellent iron booster, if you need it & doesn't make you constipated. Also worth taking a B vitamin.

biglips · 31/08/2006 20:59

ive had anenmic. low and high thyriod test (twice) - negative

i will go and get some vit B and Spatone - what mg would u suggest?>

the spatone you can just take one sachet a day with orange juice to help absorption.

Vitamin B - just a general all rounder should do it.

Also if you eat chicken, do a roast, then boil the bones with garlic, carrots, onions, black pepper & make a soup (skim off the fat, I do this when it's cooled as it all collects at the top). Excellent vitality booster. In fact I just bought myself a chicken to do this

thank you mojomummy... we do eat well in this house (well when dp cooks where i just put things in the oven as too knackered to even think of doing it as seems to be a major thing for me!)

You can get Spatone from the chemist but it is quite expensive - something like £7 a pack (last about a month, I think). My GP gave me a prescription for it when I was pg.

biglips · 31/08/2006 22:15

can u get it on prescription?, as im not working atm

Hi biglips, yes get it on perscription if you don't have to pay. Otherwise it's sometimes on offer, buy 2 get one free, in Boots.

Don't know much about AD, so can't advise there, could you try something else to give you a boost ? I saw my accupunctrist yesterday for a boost....had to have a sleep in the afternoon though !
