I haven't tried any of these, but i spoke to another mum about panic attacks before. She said Kalms made her feel nauseous .. and prefers, i think she said, rescue remedy.
Maybe ask your GP or pharmacy what they would recommend

Thanks mythumbelinas. I have tried rescue remedy and thought it was pants. It really didn't do anything.
I have heard the kalms can make u nauseous too. Oh well, I will have to try something else.
Thanks anyway.

Haven't tried St Johns Wort but when I was at boarding school and sufering from depression/anxiety/insomnia, my school nurse used to give me handfuls of Kalms. I think they did help me calm down enough to sleep - and alleviate nightmares - when very little else did. Mind you, she used to give me glasses of whisky too, which probably contributed.

St johns wort has always worked really well for me but word of warning it does effect the combined pill if you're taking that! I've taken kalms in the past but they weren't really effective, I also found rescue remedies to be ineffective.

Hi, I’m thinking of starting St John’s Wort or Kalms to help with low mood, I’ve just started to feel angry, intolerant of others and feel like crying all the time. It’s this or prescribed medication I guess. Anyone experience this or have done in the past? Xx
