Sertraline and orgasming. Tmi alert.

I had my sertraline upped from 100 to 200 and since then I have been unable to orgasm. I tried for 45 minutes it normally takes ten is this a common side effect of sertraline?

Yep, I believe so. Think it says so in the leaflet. I don't know what to suggest, sorry. Maybe speak to doc?

This also happened to me both when I first got on the mess and then when I upped my dosage. I also had terrible insomnia. Both times the side effects abated as my body adjusted to the meds, and to be honest I found Sertraline very effective as an antidepressant. Hope it works out similarly for you.

Yes, common side effect I'm afraid. Your body may adjust though.
