That did make me giggle perhaps thats all I need a laugh, another bit of brief hist had to move to SOuthend, Essex to be close to family for support and dont seem to have many friends, so having a laugh doesn't happen that often, god I sound pathetic!

PMSL! I thought that too AllieBongo but thought I can't post and tell anyone they'll think I'm bonkers.

Are you tired Funnyyummymummy? I find that if I get an inexplicable down day it's usually because I haven't had enough early nights. It does sound like you have a lot to cope with with two under 2's.

VoLuataire · 09/08/2006 20:33

pheww, yummymummy, I feel like I should now stop complaining about my life! You have been having a really tough time! You already a hero in my book to managing through all these experiences.
Everybody desrves a pampering sometime, and you certainly need more! Is there anything you like that you could indulge yourself? like a hot bath, a really rich chocolate ice cream, a day at the spa, i break from the kids? Would any of this be possible

i have nothing to moan about. You sometimes need to have a moan to feel a bit better. I was born in Rochford, and grew up in South Benfleet so know the area! Are there any toddler groups you can go to, or am I stating the obviuous??? There will always be a friendly voice here for you..well a cyber-y one anyway

AllieBongo · 09/08/2006 20:38

look, try here southend meet up

Funnyyummymummy · 09/08/2006 20:42

Ah bless you all, with regard to the poo situation I have just been diagnosed with IBS so that has probably got something to do with it! Would love to pamper myself, have a break from my beautiful little babies etc but when it comes to it I get this incredible guilt feeling so end up just looking after the babies oh and my nan too, she has moved in with me since my grandad passed away. I was born in Rochford too! But then moved to Devon with grandparents (mum dropped me off one night and that was it they brought me up, hmmmmmm thats probably where my crap guilt thing comes from!)

bless you. Don't feel guilty for wanting some time to yourself. You didn't drop your kids on your mums doorstep you are raising them by yourself so that's where you differ. I think it's lovely also that you are looking after your nan now instead. that show's you what a good person you are! Am I right in saying that Rochford hosiptal is now a housing estate?

Funnyyummymummy · 09/08/2006 20:48

Thank you AllieBongo just added a message to that thread, hope they dont tell me to bugger off! I used to be so confident and outgoing now I'm like a shy tortoise to scared to come out of their shell, kinda annoying really! Just want to laugh like I used to!

yummymummy, I totally understand your guilt thing. I work full-time, so even though I am really tired I don't feel like I cannot spend every minute I can with DCs. But they do go to sleep! Can your nan keep an ear on them while you do something fun in the evning?

Funnyyummymummy · 09/08/2006 20:58

I guess she could I've just got to lose the guilt haven't I! They do sleep through from 7 so I could do something, I'm feeling guilty aleady and I haven't done anything! Silly moo aren't I!
