Feeling so shit today

Just wanna disapear into thin air.

Am just so sick of all the shit that keeps coming my way. When is something nice gonna happen ??

We are broke again, nothing new there but I can't ever see it changing even if dp does get a job which is a big IF.

I have put on over a stone in weight and have nothing to wear. I had very few clothes before but now I am squashing myself into ones that are almost 2 sizes too small.

I keep shouting and dp when to be fair he is doing all he can.

I just want to piss off and leave everyone too it.

Am supposed to have my interview for college tommorow which is a laugh cos at the mo I can't even cope with doing nothing never mind a full time course.

Nope haven't been to g.p cos i mean really it's just pathetic isn't it. Everyone has money probs, relationship probs etc etc and seems to be able to cope except me.

I just keep thinking how my life was meant to be better than this and yet it's so shite, and i didn't even want alot just the same as normal people with normal lives.

I have probs too but on ad's and just trying to keep busy and lively iykwim

and I always look at it this way

there is always someone worse off than yourself
then i begin to feel abit {not much} better

If you feel you are not coping with things, it may be an idea to go & see your gp.
Do you feel you might be depressed, or do you think you are just very stressed?
The college course may not be a bad idea, as it will keep your mind focused on something else, IYKWIM? I always cope better at work than I do at home, as you are kind of away from things & don't have as much time to think about the things that are pulling you down.

Heavens Nutcracker, I haven't been able to cope at times. Found myself spiralling into depression when my ex-H had an affair & I was made redundant. I also thought I was being a light weight girly wimp, but my GP thought otherwise & ADs kept me going.
You've got alot on your plate & have had a tough time recently - don't be shy about going to your GP.

Oh hon, you could be quoting me except I didn't even have those probs, just struggling with two young children. I think if you scratch the surface you will find so many people are not 'coping' as well as you think they are. Go and see your GP, even if he/she doesn't recommend AD they might be able to find you someone to talk to. That's what I've done and it's really helped.

Don't even think about the weight thing, we all go up and down over the course of our lives. Just try to accept this is a bit of an up but when you are feeling better maybe you can try and do something about it if that is what you want. Big hugs to you honey.

Thankyou all, I am feeling alot better and will think about going to the gp's I promise.

Have decided to still go to interview tommorw as I think college may be the one think that might keep me sane right now.

The one thing I have learnt having had severe depression for over three years is that you can tell NOTHING from just looking at other people! After all, people all thought I was happy, strong, confident, capable - none of them knew what was really going on inside and how I felt.

And it's the same for us looking at other people - that mum that you see at the school gate, looking all smiley, smart, clean, thin, beautiful shoes and handbag, lovely polite goodlooking children etc etc etc - for all you and I know, she's got an abusive husband, her parents have a terminal illness, she's got an eating disorder, she's got a cocaine problem etc etc etc.

We just don't know. What is important is being honest with ourselves, and asking for help when we need it even if we don't actually know what will help us. One in four people suffer from depression and if I've got the stats right, it's something like one in three or one in two women. It's an illness just like flu or pneumonia - and we wouldn't feel pathetic if we developed those would we?

You're not alone nutcracker, just looking at the threads on MN will tell you that. We have all been there is some shape or form (even if we are not all prepared to admit it publicly) and we are right there beside you, propping you up and giving you our metaphorical shoulders to lean on.

nutcracker, don't be so hard on yourself. Life can be tough and people deal with things differently. It might be that doing something positive for yourself is all that you need but sometimes AD's are necessary too. Good to hear you are thinking of going to see your GP and have a chat & also good to hear you are going to your interview. Good luck with it

Hello, just wanted to let you know that the interview went great and I was offered a place on the course and i've accepted it

I should be thankful for what I already have, todays postings have told me that much.
