Can anyone here recommend a top counsellor who treats PTSD? does anyone have experience of treatment for PTSD - sudden abandonment.

I saw your post on another thread yesterday and thought I'd see if anyone had been able to help you. I don't know anyone to recommend, I'm afraid but MN has a useful MH board where you might find some sign-posts. Best of luck to you.

Depends where about you are and what sort of trauma you're looking at working with really. Sorry, I haven't seen your other thread if you mention some of this stuff there. Have you looked on the BABCP website? This should tell you who works in your area. Pm me if you want to chat about what sort of therapy/qualifications might be helpful when you're looking.
