Has anybody lactated with either Amisulpride or Melatonin?

I was put on both these drugs two and a half weeks ago along side my regular ones and have noticed that my breasts are sore and last night I discovered I was producing milk! I'm definitely not pregnant, so it must be one of these meds, luckily I have a psych appointment tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had experienced the same?

Amisulpride can raise prolactin levels and cause this. I think it's quite common with that particular anti psychotic. Def tell your pdoc. How are you on melatonin? I didn't think you can get that in the UK?

Thanks, I did think it was the amisulpride rather than the melatonin.

Melatonin is only available on prescription in the UK, it's ok and has helped me get back into a reasonable sleeping pattern as I didn't want to stay on zopliclone long term. x

It's a shame to hear you've got this problem--Amilsulpride is one of the med's I'm considering switching to.

Don't let it put you off I'm sure not this can't happen to everyone who takes it. It's a shame for me as it's helped me in other ways, ah well back to the drawing board....running out of anti psychotics to try now!

Meant to say "I'm sure that this can't happen"
