Is this anxiety?

I've suffered with depression in the past, and I have been on a low dose AD for a few years. I work full time as a teacher.

Yesterday was an horrendous day for me. I work with a headache that wouldn't shift, despite Anadin Extra. By 8.30am I thought I might be heading to a heart attack - I had chest pains, which went around to my right side.

By 9.30 I was tearful and getting shooting pain in the left hand side of my chest. I cried all day and couldn't eat much at all - NOT like me at all.

I had a meeting in the afternoon and I was really rude to people and ready to chuck everything in.

I ended up calling dp to collect me at four and came home and cried myself to sleep, properly sobbing.

Today, other than feeling weak, I was back to normal.

I've tried googling and can only surmise it was a massive anxiety attack. Does anyone with experience of this know if it is anxiety?

It does sound like an anxiety attack but without you being examined by a dr to rule anything else out its hard to say. Sounds like a trip to the GP could be in order?

Have you had your blood pressure done recently?

It's been a few months since I had my blood pressure done, and it was a little bit high then. That's only to be expected, though, as I am overweight.
I shall book a GP appointment for half-term.
