ADs - fuzzy head & exhausted - normal side affects?

It's day 10 of starting 20mg of Fluoxetine. Felt a bit spaced out for first week but less so most of the time now. But last 2 days when I get up in the morning until about 10am I have a fuzzy head - I can't think straight. I am totally exhausted and keep yawning.

Are these normal side effects at the beginning of taking ADs? Will they lift soon? I think I do feel calmer but the morning fog in my head and tiredness may make it difficult to work next week.

Hang in there, this is just your body getting used to the meds. If the side effects persists past the 3rd week then you can check in with your doc.

My GP said the side effects could last 2/3 weeks. I was given amytriptiline (how do you spell that). I had to stop taking them as I couldn't work or look after the dc's while feeling so rough.

Thanks guys! Will wait another couple of weeks. I feel calmer but am just so apathetic and have no motivation. Hopefuly this will lift.
