citalopram side effects - would reducing help?

I have a review in the morning with my gp but hoping for some shared experiences.

I'm in my 3rd week of taking citalopram 20mg for anxiety. I've found my panic and worry has reduced but I'm struggling to live with the side effects which include extreme tiredness, dizziness, nausea, dry mouth, insomnia and pins and needles. I have a 1 year old and work part time.

Would reducing to 10mg reduce the side effects?

If you're getting the results you want from them then a reduction might be worth thinking about to get rid of reside effects, but as you're on quite a low dose anyway it would have to be a small reduction, no more than 5mg otherwise you'll be in danger of not getting the benefits anymore.
Don't mess with the amounts without checking with your GP first though.
