Am sick of this drug turning me into an eating machine. So, have got down from 20mg to 10 over about 4 months with no issues.

Am so sick of the raging appetite, that last night and the night before, I took 5 mg. ached all over last night, worse today, doesn't respond to painkillers. Even my finger joints and inside my ribs hurt. Feel sick, upset stomach. Actually I feel like I've got flu, but no temperature.

Is this normal for this bastard tablet? I can't remember feeling as bad as this before

I went from 40mg to 0mg in 3 weeks :/
I don't have a massive appetite or any aches/pains but I seem to have developed serious anger issues. I cannot control it and feel like the Hulk, only not in a god way.
My GP told me to go back if withdrawal got bad so GO BACK! It should not be that bad, especially if you reduced gradually. HTH.

OK I came off paroxetine years ago so I understand what you're going through. Ask your GP to prescribe your a different antidepressant that doesn't have withdrawal symptoms (in my case I was given fluoxetine - ie Prozac) for one month. The GP will tell you how to switch from one to the other, and then you gradually reduce your dose on the fluoxetine.... It only took me a month to be drug-free.

Venlafaxine (Efexor) and Paroxetine (Seroxat) are known for having vicious withdrawal symptoms so please ask your GP to help with this.

I can only take 3 ads, and paroxetine is one of them. All the rest I am either allergic to, or they send me batshit.

Thing is, I don't know if I was just ill, I had a sore throat as well. Took 10again last night and felt better today, but still crap.

I think it sounds about "right" unfortunately. Horrible withdrawals for me as well. Especially bad when I sometimes (way too often) forgot to renew mine in time and had to go a weekend cold turkey. The electric shock feelings in my head and limbs were the most unpleasent for me. Hang in there OP!
