when i feel like this i like to go out into the garden or park and just listen to the birds and watch the squirrels or something - i sound mad.

I got dd´s report today and it made me weep with joy, it spoke of how confident she was, how popular, how much integrity she has etc etc. This is the report of a girl, who was so shy at the beginning of this reception year that she only used sign language for the first few weeks, what a difference a year makes.

Don´t think this will cheer you up, hope you are ok and i´m around for a while if you want to chat

When I got DH a "World's Best Dad" glass for father's day from 8 month old DS, he got all teary eyed and a lump in his throat and said
"I know we've given our dads all this sort of stuff over the years, but when you get one yourself it makes you feel SO fecking special"

father ted is a great idea. somehow i only ever have war films on dvd.

no reason really,or lots of little ones. ds has chickenpox (not very badly). dh is having a third interview with a company in southampton, which means we're still hanging on not knowing where we're going to live or anything. why can't they make a decision. i had a row with somebody at work i really like and they've told me to offer a girl i think is good the same job she applied for at £1.50 an hour less BECAUSE SHE'S 18. i agree it shold be a bit lower because she's not got all the skills but we went into a huge circular row and she kept telling me i was wrong which i was not.

but i don't really know why today i am bursting into tears.

OH God i'm premenstrual! How many years do i have to have periods for before i realise!

When I feel like this I find the weepiest film I can find, usually It´s a wonderful life and blub as much as possible. It normally does the trick.

I went on a course once and they did this thing were you put everything you were feeling bad about into a hot air ballon and then slowly cast them over the side of the basket. Which kind of worked fine,until someone's mobile phone started ringing with the Benny Hill theme.
