Trifluoperazine?

Has anyone been on this? Just been prescribed it as a replacement for lithium as thinking of TTC.

I took it prior to starting lithium and also on a PRN basis when pregnant. If you're bipolar you might find you don't actually need it when you do fall pregnant as in a lot if case pregnancy itself is a great mood stabaliser. I only needed to take it once throughout two pregnancies.

I can't remember any side effects but it's been a long time since I took it. Didn't have any problems with it though.

Thanks fed up - pregnancy was a protective factor in my last pregnancy and I was fine off the lithium, as usually I relapse almost immediately on stopping the lithium. But my team are being cautious. How does it work on a PRN basis?
