What is troubling you right now?

Ok here is the Samaritans number, do phone: 08457 90 90 90.

It is ok. Most children walk to school and 15 minutes walk is not only very short but also healthy as children need to exercise every day. I think it is great your dd chose which school she went to and she knew where it was. I hope she enjoys this new adventure.

But it sounds like you are struggling with hearing the logic. Going to gp and telling them you are panicking about your dd walking to the school sounds a good idea. Do you have contact with a health visitor to reassure you? Or with your dd's form tutor so you can contact the school if there is an issue as secondary schools can be ery different to primary schools and much less contact with home unless you ask or need it.

Have you been able to find an activity to distract with? Has the diazepam helped?
