If you have a history of recurrent severe depression, I would switch to a safer drug but stay on. If you suffer from moderate depression or anxiety primarily I would push for intensive psychotherapeutic supportable, either IPT or CBT. That's the NICE guidelines for pregnancy but this is very general and you need specific advice from professionals you trust who listen to you and understand your needs. Do you have these people in place?

Support. Not supportable.

Many people take medication while pregnant so why not speak to your gp about it. If you are struggling now have you thought about how you will cope with a baby, little sleep, exhaustion, not at work whilst with baby etc etc how will you manage that? Worth thinking about your support structure etc so you do not end up not able to manage further. Or do tablets sort it all out.

Whilst NICE guidelines may recommend all sorts of lovely talking treatments the reality is short term talking treatment and then that is it. If you need more intensive talking treatment you usually need to pay private, wait a very long time as everyone wants talking treatments obviously or be under lots of services that say you are high risk and therefore jump to the top of the queue. Oh and psychiatric assessment.
