To cut a long story short, after having my DS I did an online CBT course, provided by the NHS. I found it helpful for both the anxiety of motherhood and for longstanding issues with depression. When it finished, I decided that I'd like to take things further with some one to one counselling at my own expense. My first appointment is today. BUT I feel a bit of a fraud as I'm currently in a really good place with everything! Which is great, obviously, but I'm wondering if I should cancel? Or just go and see what happens? Will she wonder why on earth I'm there? Or is talking about stuff when you are feeling well a better idea anyway?! Help!
