citalopram- side effects?

I started on citalopram 12 days ago and have felt quite nauseous ever since, though was feeling slightly queasy due to stress before taking them anyway.
For the past few days have felt dreadful with a grumbly/ cramping stomach and feeling very nauseous all the time.

Anyway. .as of last night I'm not keeping food down.

Those of you who have taken them, does this sound like a bug or side effects?

I felt very nauseous on these too. I started to take them at bedtime and that really helped.
Also felt dizzy & anxious which impacted on my work. Much better after I changed the time I took them.

Was never actually sick though. Have you eaten something dodge do you think?

Just to add, all these horrid symptoms stopped after about 2 weeks. If you are no better in the next week, go back to GP as they may not suit you. There are loads, you will find one that suits you.

All the best x

I've been taking them at night from the start as I'd heard of people feeling rubbish if they took them in the morning.

Feeling really crap and I think it'd be strange for side effects to start now rather than at the start. Can't think of anything I've eaten so I think it's just a bug.

Thank you for replying :)
