hey I've been on citalapram for two years or so and the last six months it's stopped working, I have had counselling tried cbt workbooks, heaps of exercise, changed doses, jumped through all the hoops the doctor asked me to jump through. but today he wrote me a script for Sertraline and told me to go down to 10mg of citalapram for a week then one every other day for a week then nothing for a week then to start it. I'm scared about this whole process, I'm not well as it is, my depression and anxiety is through the roof and my rituals have increased over last months. scalp and skin picking, bingeing purging and uncontrollable nightmare thoughts. I am worried what this transition period will do. will it be worth it? anyone made the same change?
