17 yr old so prescribed prozac

Has anyone had experience with this and did the drug work well. Prescribed for anxiety. Having serious second thoughts about him taking it.

He has tried beta blockers and they did work but long term they made him feel very low and stopped him from his running and training. Thank you for your reply. I just get worried when I hear all the side affects of Prozac. I'm worried that this will mean a lifetime of different drugs.
