Hi all :)

Have NC for this.

After many years of denial and hiding I have finally sought help with my mental health and now have a diagnosis of bipolar. I've seen the community mental health team for CBT who referred me back to my GP, who then referred me to a psychiatrist which is where I got the diagnosis from. I haven't seen my GP since (apparently they should have received a report and I should have had a copy but I haven't yet). A lady is coming out to see me at home today (peer support?) and I'm really not sure why.

Just wondering is there anything I should be doing, chasing up. There's been no talk of any medication changes (was taking 10mg citalopram but have stopped in the last few weeks as I feel better without them). Guess I'm asking does anyone know where I go from here? or any clues as to what to expect? Feel a little lost with it all "/

Thanks my lovelies!!!!

I imagine ask the peer supporter and then see your gp?

Peer support lady didnt show up today, left messages with the team she works out of and heard nothing. GP has signed me off work for a further two weeks (after MANY off) and said he can't do anything and only knows now what I've told him. Confused
