Wellbutrin for depression in UK

Hi there

After trying a number of different antidepressants that haven't worked brilliantly and have caused serious weight gain, I want to try wellbutrin because I've heard such good things about it from friends overseas. My GP is very supportive but isn't allowed to prescribe it for depression. He's happy to write me a referral to a psychiatrist to get it prescribed but I don't know how to find a consultant with experience of prescribing it.

Can anyone recommend a consultant in London, St Albans or the South East who has prescribed it for them?

Thanks so much! Just want to get back to my old, happy (and slimmer) self!

K x

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas. Am due to see my gp again tomorrow and was hoping to get the referral letter sorted. Should have posted earlier, I know! Sorry!

I think it's pretty difficult to get hold of. Tried to myself and got no where.
