I am here as a result of severe relationship abuse of the emotional and verbal variety. Feel free to join regardless of the type of abuse you have suffered; it may be that you have been subject to childhood abuse from carers, bullying at school or in the workplace or dv ; both physical and emotional.
Post traumatic stress disorder is common when one has suffered abuse but for too long I have dwelt on my abuser and what he did. Here's too a brighter future and acknowledging that WE HAVE SURVIVED. We may not have thrived as we could have done, there may be patterns we need to break but lets refuse to let the bastards get us down any longer!

I am the child of domestic abuse who as a teen went into a abusive relationship. I suffered PTSD age 15 and I also have bipolar type 1. It's been 10 years since my partner and father were cut out of my life and while I'm doing much better I still have scars.

Mostly it all comes back to haunt me when I have a episode and my hallucinations are all centered around rape and abuse as a result.
