Took my last dose on Fri might will not be able to get next dose until Mon at 9.30. In a mental mad rage today - couldnt sleep last night - up til 4 - slept for 4 hours - what do I do? just keep out of everyones way? How long will it take to get back on track - have a really tough week ahead of me.

Yes, I'm on the stuff too - you must get an emergency prescription. TBH managing this long is damned good going.

YOu can take you next two doses at a 12 hour interval, that really helps get the side effects down.

I have called a 24hr chemist which is 15 miles away - they said that if they had not dispensed for me before they could not do anything - they said to either go to a "walk in centre" or "A&E" - I dont want to be a nuisance - should I just tough it out til the morning?

I think you should go to either a walk in centre of A&E - you're not a nuisance.

If you had asthma and ran out of inhalers I'm pretty sure you would go to get some more. So please go and get some more Venlafaxine.

some benedryl used to take the edge of the withdrawal symptoms off for me when I was on this..I'm not sure if I've spelt that right..it's meant for hayfever I think. drink water and rest as much as you can, I agree with the others about going to a&e if things get bad, I know from experience how horrific the withdrawal from this drug can be. if you can't get venlafaxine then fluoxotine is good to tide you over, it leaves your system slower so doesn't have such nasty effects. I know you're not likely to have any lying about but thought I'd mention it just in case. I really feel for you, I went a weekend without them a few times when I took them (by accident) and it was something I wouldn't wish on anyone, hope you get it sorted soon Smile

I am on venlafaxine 300mg daily. I was sure I had another strip but I was mistaken. I cannot get to emergency chemist , or nearest hospital etc due to flate up of my fibromyalgia & i am stuck. Any sugfestions GREATLY appreciated xx
God help anyone tomorrow who upsets me. Being on such a high dose I CANNOT go without. Have done it once & I felt I was going totally mental. I was sick, dizzy, had vertigo, migraine & felt like my body didn't belong to me .

I’d ring round chemist that do 24 hr
Explain about venlafaxine

Then could you get neighbour friend family to get it for you?
