Emetophobia - panicking

I know that I should have searched first but I'm in a bit of a panic at the moment.

I am emetophobic and I'm not well and I feel really really sick.

Not well for a couple of days, upset tummy etc but I feel really nauseous now and I'm panicking and over breathing which I know won't help.

Poor you, it's not nice at all. Can you get a glass of water and sip it slowly? Maybe read or watch a TV program to try and distract yourself as if you are thinking about how ill you are feeling that may make it worse. Also try breathing in for 3 seconds then out for 6 seconds slowly. Focus on the counting, the exhale should be twice as long as the inhale.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks trying.

Have calmed down now, been online, tv in background, sipping 7-up.

It's so awful.

I know I'd feel better if I was sick but it's the thought of it and the buildup to it that I can't take Sad
