I was anorexic/bulimic as a teen. Now binge eat and starve.

Have started this week eati g the same every day - and have enough to continue with this for the foreseeable future.

Is that a terrible idea? I feel like I don't have to think about food anymore. The choices overwhelm me.

I did similar for a while, it released me from having to think about food and for me that was the key- knowing what it was like to just eat and not worry, and it became habit (the not worrying) until now the not worrying is a normal part of my life and i have a much wider range of food and can eat socially etc. you become more attached to the feeling of freedom than you are to the control of food. Make sure it is a good well rounded meal, not restrictive but 'safe' for you. This can't be another way of control, but a stepping stone .

Being free is sooooooo good tiptap . suddenly there is room for - gasp- A Life!

best of the best luck
