What can I do to help?

firstly I am sorry if this isn't on the right section!

I have a very special friend, who is suffering with depression. She has been amazingly supportive to me over the time I have known her. Always willing to listen, and offer a friendly hug.

The last week in particular she has really gone into a very bad place (sorry I don't know how to word it).

I have offered to listen if she wants to talk, I have encouraged her to talk to her family and other friends. But just feel I should be doing more. But I really don't know what else I can do?

Anyone have any idea what else I could do? Or is it something that she has to work through, and all I can do is be there if and when she needs me.

Think I just want someone to tell me that I'm not doing anything wrong, and making things worse for her?

Thanks for the reply.

It's just very difficult to know what to do for the best. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything okay. But sadly it's not that easy.

Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not doing anything wrong.

Xx
