Cannot think of any reason why today is so bad. This is worst I've been for a long time. Just want to go to bed and cry but got DC to look after
Anyone got any ideas to help me through this? Please?

I'm so sorry you feel like this. What about making yourself a cup of tea and then sticking on a dvd and snuggling with the DC on the sofa? you could have a 'picnic tea' of sandwiches, raw carrots etc. on a rug on the sitting room floor so you don't have to cook. Have you seen your GP recently?

Thanks. DC watching You've Been Framed after beans on toast for tea
Not been to GP for a while
Just got period so that could explain it. Is it usual to feel down when due on I wonder?

Yum beans on toast! Well done. Hope you are having some too? Being hungry always makes everything seem more bleak!
Definitely usual to feel down when your period is due. vitamin B6 has helped me a bit in the past (horrendously weepy once a month) and I know other people swear by evening primrose oil. I'd go and chat to your GP if I were you though, and it's more than just today that you feel sad, they may be able to help a bit.

After your DC are in bed you could have hot bath with a trashy novel? Or watch something silly like the apprentice? You sound like a nice mummy Smile

Coming on your period will definitely affect it. So hopefully you should feel a bit better in a few days.

Maybe tell your Gp you would like to change/lower dose your ads and maybe get couselling too?

Hope you're ok. How old are your dc?

Glad you had a good night's sleep. As GirlWithTheLionheart says, GP will be able to tweak your ADs, or maybe change the type, there are lots. And counselling definitely worth asking about. You don't have to feel like this.

I know you won't feel like it but dancing really works, wack some music on a dance while doing everything!

How are you, op?
