DH has been ill quite a lot recently. Went to docs and has come back with a 'Healthy Minds' leaflet.
He doesn't really talk much just says everything is fine

Any ideas on how I can help him. We've been married 9 months and are ttc ( but without pressure)

The big thing to remember, is that while women would want to talk about this, men will not.

You could ask how things went, make it clear you are happy to talk/listen and then take your lead from him.

Oh, you could also buy some multivitamins suggesting hat you both take them to get into the best shape, should you conceive.

I would kep him busy doing things you know he enjoys

so if you have some good friends invite them round for takeaway at the weekend

go to his favourite restaurant

suggest he picks up a hobby

my bil is seriously depressed and the only thin that seems to help is friends rallying round and taking him out playing golf, watching sport etc

& exercise is brilliant for elevating the mood, could you go cycling or swimming together at the weekend?

Sorry didn't get time to post. DH goes kickboxing with his mate twice a week so is getting exercise. He was quite helpful round the house yesterday and the tablets he's now on helped him sleep better. So that's a positive at least.
