Elastic bands.
Ice cubes.
Cutting up paper.
Write everything down.

Remember the mood will past. It's just an urge, and you will get past it. Hand holding x

Elastic bands recommended here and anything to distract and keep you busy. Exercise has become my replacement coping strategy.

Keep typing, in that case. I find that keeping my hands busy is the key point until I can control it again.

Hair bobbles on a wrist then? Distractions. Using the 15 minute rule, when you say I have to just get through the next 15 minutes. Set yourself a nice reward if you do not self harm.
