I am having real problems getting an assessment for ADD. the GP has referred me, but that was 6 months ago. I chased it up, and there had been some mix up, but it was still going to be at least 12 months to wait now it has been sorted out.
I asked the NHS to recommend somewhere for a private assessment, and contacted them, they said they were going to contact me twice, and didn't.
I contacted The Priory, and they have come back and said it will cost £1000 for an assessment consisting of 3 sessions. I can't afford that.
Where do I turn now ????
Any ideas or recommendations ??
