Well i saw both my health visitor and my GP today, who have indeed confirmed i have PNDSad

SJW is apparantly a definite no-no as i'm still breastfeeding, so i'm due to start on a low dose anti-depressant when i get back from my foreign holiday in a fortnight.

Kinda relieved to be given an 'offical' diagnosis, even if i do feel like a complete failure!

Sorry, that should be 'official'. Brain's not in gear

I would say that far from being a failure, you are a major success for being able to face up to any difficulties you have been experiencing. I hope you get the time and support you need over the coming months to feel better. good luck.

Hello nervousmum

Well done for seeing GP and HV. You are not a failure - no way! It's a major milestone and now you can get the support you need to get better.

What AD's have you got? I had PND with my x2 DS and initially the AD's made me feel a bit odd, but once they kick in the improvement was quick.

Good luck and keep posting, you'll get lots of support on Mumsnet.
