I have issues. Some are long standing and others are more recent.

DH has issues. Some are long standing and others are more recent.

We have issues.

Each of our long standing issues no doubt influences and affects our current individual and joint issues.

We have agreed that we, separately and jointly, need counselling / therapy.

Do we look for 3 counsellors / therapists (one for each of us individually and one for us jointly), 2 counsellors in some combination of individual for one of us and individual for one of us + joint for both of us, or 1 counsellor who sees each of us individually and sees us jointly?

I would especially appreciate comments from any counsellors / therapists who may see this.

Thank you.
