phd support groups

are these a local thing or are there national ones? i got impression from my hv that there isn't much, if anything, locally. sometimes i'm ok, but would love to be able to talk face to face with people about it sometimes

I don't know if there are any national ones but maybe the NCT can help you out. We have locally run PND support groups in our area. Can your GP suggest anything?

not sure, i don't tend to get on with docs for some reason. i have to wait 2weeks for appt with hv and that was given with some reluctance because i can't get to the surgery because of work restrictions.
