I'm finding work really hard at the moment. I'm not meeting my targets and I'm feeling the pressure. Really feel like quitting but I think being a sahm would be really hard, plus DD loves her childminder.

Am going to Doctors tomorrow, do you think I should o off sick?

It depends on whether you are actually sick or not.

If you're not meeting your targets as you're depressed and not able to cope with your job, then yes some time out would be good for you to take stock and try and get better. If you're not meeting your targets as you can't do your job, then going off sick is just delaying you from sorting it out.

Can you not talk to your manager about this?

I do have some sympathy for you as I was awful at my job a year ago and ended up taking time off with severe depression. Now I am healthy again I am doing well at it. Do you think this is the case with you?
