Hi what is the best way to stop an anxiety attack. Similar to a panic attack but more in the head than body. Although I am feeling really jittery. Not had them in a long time but they are coming back full force. They can last and last so any help would be massively appreciated.

Sorry you're feeling like this. I spent 3 months feeling similar, on and off, I know how scary it is.

What is bothering you, can you pinpoint something or not?

I have found the best thing is to try to write down your worries, decide whether they are reasonable or not and come up with an action plan for them if they are reasonable worries. If they aren't reasonable, you need to try to let go of them which I know is easier said than done. Maybe talk about them with somebody else to see what they think. I've just completed a course of CBT and I really recommend this to give you some techniques to try out.

I also recommend mindfulness meditation. It helps you to learn not to get too involved in unhelpful thoughts, and brings you back to 'being' not 'doing'.

Starting 4 years ago i started having increasing panic attacks that often led to fainting. In happened mostly in crowded places, and even while i was on a date once. This was very embarrasing and even dangerous. So i tried taking medication but after a couple of years the effects wore off. i was so desperate that i started googling and came across a short video and thought I might as well give the method a try. I almost cried when i started going through it.. at last there was someone who understood what i felt. then i applied the method and it worked the first time within seconds. its worked everytime ive used it, and because im no longer scared and know i can control any attack, the attacks arent even starting anymore.

watch the short video at makeanxietygoaway.com and get your life back like i did
