self harm...dd18

my dd 18 is self harming yet again plus hearing voices, she is going downhill by the day.
Gp sent her as an emergency to adult mental health, she saw someone....joke! She has long history with camhs also......they turned her away ffs!
Self harm getting worse.
Now not attending college.
Sort of agreed to go to gp with me on mon....this may change??? Confident he will refer back to mental health.
God if they turn her away again what the hell do I do??
How the hell do you have to be to be accepted by cmht??
In the interim he referred her to new thoughts....ha ha they wont take her on as to severe and wont take her on due to hearing voices and self harm.......
Finding this hard to cope with as so unwell myself but doing all can to support and understand my dd.

Sorry to hear that your daughter is struggling. You're clearly upset and frustrated and feeling like services are not responding as they should, but your post doesn't make it clear who she saw or what was said.
I'd go back to the GP and go in with your daughter if possible. Request re referral to adult mental health services for a full assessment re the hearing voices and the self harm.

She saw a social worker at cmht!
Yes am confident gp will re refer, spoke to him re my disgust at her being turned away, he agreed!
He wanted to see her again but it has taken this time to get her to agree to go and allow me to go with her!
Just hope she not change her mind by mon morning?

Ask the doctor to refer her to the crisis team.

take her to A&E. Say you are concerned for her safety. They will have to arrange an Assessment with a crisis team.

A&E. How is she now?

Yes A&E is an option if you're very worried and if she'll go. You could also call an ambulance if it is an emergency and she won't go.

She has now dropped completely out of college oh dear. Still self harming. I am going to see her gp without her om Wed...she refuses to come with.
In the meantime today have arranged for her to see someone privately, which cant afford long term as am off sick myself. Will take it from there.
