Hi my lil one is 16 months old, i was told i had PND when Cam was 6 months and was given AD to help. Th Doc told me to return after a month wel i did but as i live in Spain when i returned to get an apointment they said there was a problem with my card and was not able to see a Doc. I had to stop taking the ADs straightway which obviously made me feel bad. Now im still depressed and am now 4 months pregnant, ive thought about moving back to England but my bf wont move back with me he also wants me to get rid of the baby as he doesnt think ill cope with another. I was just wondering if anyone else had PND and stil coped with a new born because im not going to get rid of my baby.
thanx

Not been in your situation but I am in Spain and know how frustrating it can be. I had mild pnd when dd was 15 months and the doctor prescribed magnesium and vit b6. Have you Tried going to the urgencia? Some private doctors arent too expensive. What was wrong with your card and has it been sorted out?

camzmum, I don't have any good advice for your situation, but I do know quite a few people who have had new babies while still suffering from PND. Obviously, everyone's different, and I don't know how you are feeling, but you sound like you're having to cope with a lot. If you did come back to England, do you have a good support network, family, friends etc? I know it's hard to feel motivated but is there anything you can do about the card situation? I do think you need some medical support if possible. Not veryhelpful, but this will bump your thread up, anyway.
