Oh dear! Will I be asked not to come back?

I was at work this morning (I volunteer) and was through in the back room sorting stock. One of the staff members came through and I heard my manager asking if they were ok. The staff member sat down and I thought nothing of it until my manager said 'Oh no she's being ' (I can't even bring myself to type the word sorry)

I panicked, felt dizzy and ill. Turned off the machine I was using, grabbed my bag, mumbled bye and a very brief explanation that I was terrified of illness and ran out the door.

Will they be angry with me? I'm due back in tomorrow but because I know that someone has been I really am terrified of being back in the back room where it happened. I know it will have been cleaned but that doesn't make it any easier for me.

They won't be angry if they know about your phobia. Perhaps it might be worth explaining tomorrow? It is a surprisingly common phobia.

I will explain tomorrow. Feeling a bit ill myself but I know that's just because I seen it today.

I know that feeling. My boys have gone back to school today and already I can feel the 'ooh oooh stomach bug season starts' feelings welling up.
