Citalopram and bruising

Just wondered if anyone has experienced bruising as a side effect of Citalopram?

I started taking them about 3 months ago gradually increasing from 10mg to 30mg.

I only have them on my legs but as fast as they disappear more come up.

I tried to put it down to being clumsy but they can't all be explained by that.

im not on citalopram, im on fluoxetine and have found bruises on my legs, left more then right - cant explain where they had come from and like you thought i was being clumsy.

the bruises take forever to fade too?

Yes they do take ages to fade....I have a constant array of them in various colours!

Have ignored them for a few weeks but think I might mention to Dr when I see him.
