Depressed?

I fear I may depressed.
I have spent so long thinking 'this will pass' but the cloud is getting darker and the tiredness is unbelievable.
I feel like life is eating me up and I can't get out of it.
Iam embarrassed, angry at myself and ashamed for feeling like this.
I wish there was a magic wand..... To make me happy and content.

I'm sure a more experienced MN will be along soon, but I didn't want you thread to go unanswered.

What do you think is making you feel this way. I don't suppose you want to talk to someone with 'jolly' in their name.

Acknowledging you might have a problem is a big step forwards - make an appointment with your GP and go and have a chat to see what they can do to help. It's a long road to recovery sometimes, but there are things that can be done to help how you feel. Don't be embarrassed, you are ill and need some help...
Good luck !

Agree with unadulterateddad about seeing the GP.

If you do have depression this is nothing to be embarrassed about at all, it's an illness which you didn't choose.
