Aripiprazole

Aripiprazole- does anyone know how long it takes to take effect?

An switching from risperidone to Aripiprazole and hoping it'll have a positive effect

I'm also taking lithium

I have bi polar type 1

Am also on lithium and wanted this instead of quetiapine or olanzapine (now have risperdal instead :() but they said it was 'too activating') - when did you start taking it?

I didn't get on with aripiprizole at all. Did nothing for my highs (bipolar) but it did make me very agitated and I couldn't concentrate on anything whilst taking it, couldn't read a book or even a newspaper.

Started taking it a week ago, I feel much more upbeat!
