They do reiki in our Spiritualist church for a £2 donation on the door, covers refreshments and overheads. But that's a rarity I think? SNU churches usually have healing services just for healing and not with a demonstration.
Please for once scottishmummy can you not instantly come onto a thread with your opinon. Op didn't ask who thought it was shite. I used to think it was shite but now know differently.
I give reiki but I don't charge. I know it can be expensive though and I wish more places did it cheap like our Church. But I suppose the therapists have to earn a living? Most I know do it p/t alongside other jobs.
And in answer to your question OP it is very good for anxiety. It won't harm you and is complementary to other treatments. Use it alongside your GPs advice though. My old GP used to have reiki she loved it
